About Finlac™ DC

Finlac™ DC consists of 100% lactitol granulate. It offers significant advantages to formulators of dietary supplements due to its high water solubility, which can improve mouthfeel and taste, as well as enabling faster active ingredient release.

It is essentially non-reactive, making it compatible with a wide range of active ingredients, and its non-cariogenicity is extremely useful for sugar-free formulations.

Finlac™ DC has been specifically designed for use as a directly compressible carrier diluent for tableting. It readily compresses to form suitable compacts over a wide range of compression forces and can form a variety of sizes and shapes.

Finlac™ DC is extremely versatile and can be used in both pharmaceutical and confectionery products. Danisco offers it in a range of tablet hardnesses.
